Rangate has partnered with Cascade Woodwork in Colorado to bring the Euro tilt/turn window and lift/slide door production art to North America. We had our very first (beta) workshop in January 2010 with three woodworkers. We had very good feedback and worked on course improvement suggestions. Everyone had a great time learning and producing the tilt and turn window. We built sash and frame and discussed anything from machines to tooling. We also went over hardware, and it was surely a great networking opportunity. Plus we had a lot of fun!

Since then, we have had many workshops at this live workshop in Ouray, Colorado. We also have our own Alpine Technical Workshops^© forum, designed to build a community of tilt/turn window and lift/slide door woodworkers and suppliers. Together, we can learn and bring the knowledge and tools to North America quicker. We continue keeping each workshop with two to four woodworkers so that everyone gets the full attention and enjoy the workshops surrounded by beautiful mountains in a smaller town.

We believe in the tilt/turn window and lift/side door benefits and technologies, and we want to build a community surrounding them for much better energy efficiencies and sustainability. They are also stylish and good-looking! And it's a niche in our marketplace. This is not a sales event, and the pricing of the workshops is reasonable to cover the shop time and logistics.
